Cables And Wires Everywhere!

Ever get sick of looking at the wires and cables from all your electronic equipment? Yeah, so do I. Computers, speakers, televisions, dvd players, stereos, sattelite boxes, dsl modem, networking cables strung all over one room can make for one big mess of wires and cables. That’s why you have to be extra careful not to cut or break one. The cost of replacing one can be quite pricy, especially if it’s for something like a new HDTV.

The High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) is a licensable audio/video connector interface for transmitting uncompressed, encrypted digital streams. HDMI connects DRM-enforcing digital audio/video sources, such as a set-top box, a Blu-ray Disc player, a PC running Windows Vista, a video game console, or an AV receiver, to a compatible digital audio device and/or video monitor, such as a digital television (DTV). HDMI began to appear in 2006 on prosumer HDTV camcorders and high-end digital still cameras

It represents the DRM alternative to consumer analog standards such as RF (coaxial cable), composite video, S-Video, SCART, component video and VGA, and digital standards such as DVI (DVI-D and DVI-I). (Source: Wikipedia)

Now, if you’re going to be spending the money to have a high def system, you want to make sure that you take care of the cables that are used to set it up. You might even want to set it up so that you don’t have to see the cables by setting up an HDMI Wall Plate system and run them in the wall, especially if you’re building a new house.

Remove the gaudy cables from sight or replace the cables you currently have for a lot less than the electronics stores will charge to replace a simple cable to keep your hi-tech home running smoothly. Buy your new cables from TCA and put your savings into something new.
