As you can tell, I’ve been publishing pictures through Picable, but what you may not know is that I have also published articles that AC rejected there as well, through the parent company. If you’re interested in being published somewhere other than Associated Content, especially for photos, then I highly recommend that you check into Triond.
I still prefer writing for Assocaiated Content most of the time, though, since most of the time you get offers for upfront payment as well as page view bonuses. There are just some things that they won’t offer upfront for and the list seems to be growing daily, along with the list of disgruntled people.
If you’re interested, Helium pays for you to write your opinions on subjects. They have a minimum amount of words for a response now, thankfully, but it’s kind of fun to read the differing opinions on a subject matter. The money ain’t great, it’s based on ratings (I think) and their minimum payment is high, at $25, so it takes a while, unless you find the niche that pays. If you do, tell me the secret!
I also am loving paid blogging. It gives me blog content, plus the money. So that’s always bonus.
