What is she hiding if she wants immunity? I don’t get it, tbqh.  If she doesn’t know where they came from, then why does she feel that she needs immunity?  I’m of the mind that no one will ever really know the true extent of what happened to Heath Ledger.  I think that the fact that it was an accidental overdose needs to be the end of the discussion.

The world seems intent on investigating everything celebrity, but they leave the common person alone.  Had it been me, no one would care outside of my friends and family.  Sad as that may seem, it’s the facts as I see it.   How many people die from accidental overdoses on a daily basis and they don’t show up in the paper even.

Ah to be a celebrity.  I’m glad I’m not one.

I don’t know how many of you use Yahoo! Music to buy mp3′s. I know there is at least one person who does, so I thought I would share the following bit of information. Yahoo Music is closing on September 30, 2008. This means that if you have purchased music through them, you will not be able to play them because of the DRM on it.

They intend to take their DRM servers offline when they take the store down. So if you have music from Yahoo, you need to burn it to CD then rip it back to MP3 format or you’ll lose it forever. Sucks, doesn’t it? DRM sucks, but it’s what it’s come down to thanks to the RIAA.

Looking for an alternative to Yahoo? Don’t go with iTunes. I’m sorry but they’re just as bad. I’d recommend Amazon, honestly. They don’t DRM their music, that I know of. And they can be imported to whatever you need to be used on whatever device you own. So yeah. If you use Yahoo Music, you’ve been warned.

Some days I wonder why I try to be a writer. I haven’t really touched any fiction in months. I have written articles and such, but lately that’s even lost it’s edge for me. They haven’t been taking as many articles for upfront pay as they were. It seems like the only way to get upfront is to use their call for content, but it’s hard to do that because they aren’t things that are in my realm of knowledge. Could I fake it? Sure, but that’s not the point. The point is to be informed and write informative articles that others can use.

I blog and do fairly well with that, so it’s not that I have a writers block all around. It’s just the whole area of writing my novel or even my articles. I have seen so many others sit and write crap article after crap article and not care about the quality. It makes me wish I had fewer standards and could post crap on top of crap, just to get the page views. The fact of the matter is, I don’t want to toss out a bunch of crap and fluff, I want to make a decent name for myself and hope for more.

Honestly, I don’t know that I’d ever want to give up writing. Sometimes though, I just wonder what the point is.
