It’s ALMOST time for High School Football to start. This summer, hell this YEAR, has flown by for the most part. I might even get to go to the first game of the season! I’m excited about that prospect. The first game is Sept. 5th at 1:30PM, about an hour away from home. Rob is done at 11AM that day, so we SHOULD be able to go if he gets straight home afterward and has no overtime.
It seems like just yesterday that it was the end of Football and we were freezing, dreaming about a Myrtle beach golf vacation. It doesn’t seem like it’s almost September. I’m glad though. My nephew starts college tomorrow, so does my bestie. She’s going back for the second time. I hope she does great and makes it through this time.
I wish I could go back to school. If I was, I’d buy me a new laptop. I’d like to have a Dell. I love my Acer, but it wasn’t nearly powerful enough for me after I bought it. I kind of thought about getting the Asus EEE netbook because it’s small enough that I can take anywhere, but I’m not sure. I worry about battery life more than anything. My Acer is a battery hog in a big way.
We’ll see what happens come tax time. Maybe then, I’ll buy one.
