Hold up.. wait a minute, let us put some boom in it…
I dunno wtf my issue is lately, I’m not motivated to do much of anything. I’ve been playing Dragonica Online instead of writing my novel. I’ve got 0 words. Had the start of something, then horked it into the trash. It sucked.
I think once I’m finished reading Catching Fire, I’m going to work up a playlist and do some writing. That might be all I need to motivate me.
A lot of days, I feel like climbing the walls. I think it’s one of the biggest things that I hate about living in manufactured homes. There’s NOWHERE to go. We have a dining room, kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. My ‘office’ area is in my bedroom. Due to the husband’s work schedule, he sleeps far earlier than I do. It sucks, especially when he snores. I can’t just blast music in my headphones to drown it out either, because it hurts my ears and I can’t hear other people around here.
I’m frustrated. I must break the writers block. Now.

Good luck breaking the cycle. I know how it can be. I’m in college and it keeps me busy, which makes writing really hard, and like you I live in a house where there’s no where to go for quiet time. My earbuds and iTunes are my best friends sometime, especially since my desk is in the living room and the TV is ALWAYS on.
Good luck again!
I hope you are enjoying Catching Fire because I thought that it was a good book, and I just CANT wait for book three. I was a little disappointed by Catching Fire just because it was a little bit to much like The Hunger Games, but overall I thought that it was an AWESOME book.
I agree, it was a lot like The Hunger Games. But that was one of the reasons I enjoyed it so much. It seems like a lot of sequel books stray too far from the story. I definitely didn’t see the ending coming, at all. If it had ended the same way as THG, then it would have been disappointing to me.
