As I said before, I have had a touch of the flu this week, so it was lucky that I was given the chance to try a new flu cure called Respiratory Guard. I was a bit skeptical, to be quite honest, since I don’t like to believe in things that are called a ‘cure’ for something.
I felt pretty crappy Monday afternoon after we got home from some errands, so I cracked open the box and took the first two lozenges. Within the hour, I felt immensely better. I was quite surprised, to be honest. I felt pretty good the next day, but continued using the lozenges, as directed, and continued to feel better. I knew there was a bit of the underlying ick. I would run a slight temperature when I shouldn’t have. The worst I felt, however, was yesterday before I took any of the lozenges. After taking one in the early afternoon, I felt almost immediately better. Same thing in the evening. I’m really glad to have a flu cure that seems to work well. Especially this year.
I am quite surprised that I managed to not get more than the ‘ick’ feeling from the flu, especially when it’s running so rampant in this area. The best part? They don’t taste like chalk like a lot of pills do. The elderberry flavor makes them taste REALLY good. The only complaint? They make your tongue and teeth turn purple/black, so you need to brush soon afterward, unless you want to look like you have a mouthful of rotten teeth.
